She has competed as an athlete in track and field, volleyball, basketball, cross country, recreational soccer, and recreational ultimate frisbee and has trained high school athletes who have gone on to compete at the Division 1 level and beyond.

Desiree earned her doctorate in physical therapy at UCSF/SFSU and her B.S. in psychology from UC Davis – “Go Ags!”. She discovered her passion for improving people’s quality of life as a rehab technician in a skilled nursing facility serving geriatric populations and folks with neurological diagnoses. In her free time, Desiree enjoys rock climbing, lifting heavy things, exploring the local scene, finding herself with good company and good food. Athletic fun fact: At a towering 5’3″ she was the starting middle blocker for her varsity volleyball team.

Shaine Anolin, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Dr. Shaine is a licensed physical therapist who is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love and live their fullest, most active lives. Growing up in Fremont, CA, she developed a strong appreciation for movement through sports, playing basketball and volleyball throughout her youth and continuing to compete with the Long Beach club volleyball team during her undergraduate years. Her clinical interests are shaped by both her athletic background and her experience working with a wide range of patients, allowing her to blend performance-based care with a strong foundation in movement quality and functional independence.

Dr. Shaine earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 2025. During her training, she particularly enjoyed her acute rehabilitation rotation, where she worked with patients with stroke, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions, experiences that continue to influence how she approaches care for active and athletic populations.

Even as a new graduate, she is deeply committed to continued learning and has completed the Movement Links course, developing a keen eye for identifying movement compensations that often underlie pain and limit quality of life. Her treatment philosophy centers on empowering patients with the education, confidence, and tools they need to move well long after formal therapy ends.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Shaine enjoys exploring great food spots, picking up new hobbies like golf and spikeball, and unwinding with video games whenever she can find the time.

Dustin earned his doctorate in physical therapy at USC and his B.S in kinesiology from the University of San Francisco “Go Dons!”. Dustin began his love for movement and sports attending Tae Kwon Do competitions at a young age. He then discovered his love for helping people return to their hobbies and activities from sports medicine taping ankles after football games to working with the geriatric population in a skilled nursing facility helping them regain their independence and function.
